So I was very excited to receive my VERY OWN Maitake mushrooms flown in from Japan just for me to try out with the fam . . . Out of the many many recipes available on https://www.maitake.co.jp/english/, I tried the Steak version. To offset the heaviness of red meat, Maitake is packed full of dietary fibers/ antioxidants, even Vitamin D, enhancing our immune system, musicals and bones ie. it helps children grow! . The family is liking the "umami" kick the mushroom gives to the dishes, I love the way it "dances" - just beautiful . I have a little surprise near the end of the video.
